Personality:

Miku is a really perky and peppy gal. She always encourages others to try their best, no matter the difficulty, often throwing out cute motivational quotes everywhere. When she becomes focused about something, she won’t tolerate those who aren’t trying and will be strict with them. She doesn’t sing much in public, but she will sing to comfort others when they’re upset. She also sings when she’s in a very good mood. She can be a little annoying; for example, if her mom goes to bed, Miku will yell and yell for her mother to come to her room, and when she comes, just sweetly say goodnight. In all honestly, it’s the cute kind of annoying, if that makes sense?? Miku’s also always hungry, soooo… //laughs into the distance

Idol Persona:
Miku’s idol persona is something along the lines of “tall girl trying to be moe”. She tries to be cutesy and clumsy, but it’s just not in her nature; her balance and reflexes are just so heightened due to training, she just can’t make herself trip and fall. Her efforts are pretty cute though, so that’s moe, right???

History:
Miku was born and raised in Matsushita. As a kid, Miku was quite an odd ball. Y’know that quiet kid that didn’t know how to express themselves? That was Miku. All she ever did during school was do her work and stare out into space when she finished. She never really laughed or smiled around anyone and always seemed sad. This was due to her parents separating recently and not knowing how to cope with it.

Miku stayed that way all through 2nd grade. During the break before 3rd grade, her grandmother had moved into her home for health precautions. Noticing her little grandchild was so upset, Granny sat Miku down and tried to talk to her one on one, but to no avail. Instead, she left her granddaughter alone with a pencil and a piece of paper.

After a while, Miku began to draw a little doodle. That little doodle started to grow into a larger, more elaborate picture that took up the whole page. It wasn’t the best picture ever, but it held so much of her bottled emotions. When she finished, Miku left the room with the biggest smile on her face. Drawing became one of her ways of dealing with emotions until she was able to express her feelings normally again.

While visiting her dad in Tokyo when she was 12, she saw a dance group performing. This is where she found her passion for dancing. After convincing her dad to let her sign up for dance classes during school breaks while visiting, Miku ended up spending a lot of time in Tokyo. She slowly but surely learned how to dance, and after 3 years became one of the teaching assistants at the studio, helping younger students learn the basics.

At this point, Miku was worried about what she wanted to do for school. There were many schools in Tokyo focused on the arts, but she was so attached to Matsushita that she didn’t know what to do. In fact, she locked herself in her room for almost a whole day (with no bathroom breaks) so she could decide where she would go. As she was about to announce going to Tokyo, Granny had brought up Fukuyama. Curious, Miku looked up the school and saw the fact they had a dance club, leading to her automatic decision to go.

Miku trained hard as preparation for the club during her first year, running every morning and evening, and even making her own dances for songs. As she entered her 2nd year, she finally got her dreams and was in the dance club.

But after hearing of the school's sad news, she became overwhelmingly sad. When Miku saw the note about starting an idol club, she began to think,

"If this actually works, then the school wouldn't close! Though singing isn't really my thing, I'll sing for the sake of the school!"
